January 2014 Paper Pumpkin Kit

It's Mojo Monday time......

And this week I got my card in on time.  This card is in support of our FAVORITE Team......The SEAHAWKS!!!!!!!!!!  Go team.  Hope you like it.  Let me know what you think.  I also included the MOJO Monday blog so you can join in if you would like.  Let's have some fun crafting this week.  Enjoy!

Mojo Monday - The Blog - Mojo Monday 329

It is time for Mojo 329, another simple sketch that can be used over and over again. We look forward to seeing how you interpret the sketch this week...have fun!

Spiral Flower Die

This was a fun card to make.  I just kept adding to it til I finally liked it.  The words are made from the MDS.  I love being able to create my own words when I don't have the right stamp set.  Then I can make as many as I want and I just cut them out with my scissors and used antique distress ink. I made the box the same way by using the square added some DSP, and inked it up.  Cut out by hand again.  The small pink checks and the  the green at the bottom is chauking.  Yep, I used the stuff I bought from Home Depot colored it with ink refill and added it for some texture on my card.  I think I like that.  The lace is some old gathered lace I had lying around.  It was gathered on one end so I took that out and made it flat and used a long piece of red liner to hold it in place on the front.  After laying down the lace I used the new Gold ultra fine glitter from the Occasions Catalog pg 32  item #132205 $7.95....on did I say you get Gold and Silver glitter.   Yep, you get both.
The brown is a background stamp I used (retired-sorry) in Baked Brown Sugar ink #131174  $5.95  (new in-color for 2014-15)  The flower is made with the new Crisp Cantaloupe In-color2014-15 paper. ( #131298  $6.95 paper or ink #131176  $5.95)  If you look closely you can see the gold glitter I added to the red liner when I was finished.  All the flowers I used the new Spiral Flower Die in the new Occasions Catalog on pg 32.  See video below in yesterdays post. 

I just love this new die!!!  It sure makes beautiful flowers but.....they are so simple to make.  And I can cut out 4 or 5 at the same time.  LOVE IT!  Here is the Birthday invite I made for my daughter.  Let me know how you like it.

I just LOVE this Die!!!!  It saves me so much time.  Oh, and if you curl it tight it is smaller and if you make it loser it is bigger.  Your going to love this!  You need a Big Shot or Cuttlebug to use this.  This is in our new Occasions Catalog on  pg 32.
