Fabulous You

 Ever need a card for someone and you think and think what does she like?  Well,  who doesnt' like flowers, butterflies, or SHOES?  Here's a card that will make just about anyone happy.  Change up the saying and make it a Mother's Day card or Birthday card.  Below I showed you what I used to make this card.  Really, not hard at all.  I used every stamp in the Fabulous You Stamp set.  You will find it on page 38 in the Annual catalog.

I also used a whole punch & scissors.

This was not a hard card to make.   I Stamped both shoes on a scrap piece of  Whisper White c/s   Then using my aqua painter I began to color them both at the same time.  I tried to make them the same but as you know coloring 2 of the same is not going to happen but they look alot alike.  Don't you think.  After I finished coloring them I cut them out as close to the shoe as possible.  Then I layered them on top of one another so you could see they were a pair.  Then I ran the Crisp Cantaloupe through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots embossing folder.  Using a scrap piece from my Watercolor Wonder DSP I then added a piece to the top of the card & I added the scallop border.  I glued them onto the WW c/s.  There is a small piece of  Pear Pizzazz paper on the edges of both papers.  Then using my small  watercolor stamp I stamped on a small piece of WW c/s all the colors above-stamping off on many of them to give them the watercolor effect.  Then I punched out my petite flowers - both in the watercolor design I just made.  Made the centers of the flowers with the circle in the Itty Bitty shapes punch set and another by my whole punch.  Used Glue for this whole card- Yep no tape at all.  Use whatever saying you would like.  Any saying would be good.  Hope you enjoyed this card.

I love this card.  With this set I can do so many things with it.  The flowers I stamped with Versa Mark on Crisp Cantaloup c/s then  embossed them with clear embossing powder.  It really make the flowers stand out, don't you think?  Also, the green leaves I did the same way with the versa mark on green paper, embossed them, but I then cut out the petals and added them to the flowers.  You certainly cannot tell they aren't leaves.  And it gave the card an added punch!  Loved it!  The

"Thank you" saying is from the Simply Celebrate stamp set.

With this stamp set you can stamp it once or stamp it off to give it that lighter shadow.  The top one is stamped once in Island Indigo and the bottom one is stamped twice.  Note:  when making this shadow,  stamp the image once and then without lifting your stamp but just a little move it over and stamp it again to the right of your first image.  You will then create this shadow.  Hint:  practice a couple time before you stamp your finished product.  *must use the same ink-do not re-ink to do this technique.

I love this set.  The watermark stamps- one large & one small I seem to be using all the time.  It makes great boarders on cards and crafts.  I used the small one on the Thank you background.   I did mostly stamping off to create the more subtle tones.
