I was jumping around this morning on the internet and came upon this cute little box by Kirsteen Gill.  So I decided to give it a try.  I love it.  It measures about 7" tall x 2 1/2" wide.  The lid keeps this cute little box together.  I did change a few things but if you know me......well that's what I do.  But it is still cute as a button.  And would make a lovely gifts for someone to put some little trinket gifts in and sit on a desk or table.   I am thinking about a class on this one.  I think everyone would enjoy this class.  Let me know if your interested.  And I will be adding this class to my Stampin' Up website.

Well today I was going to make swaps for regional's but somehow I got off on trying to make a baby stroller.  Maybe I'll do swaps tomorrow.  

This took me all day.....off and on....but I just finished it and I think it looks good.  I used so many things on this and I made so many things to embellish it I would not know where to start.  But tomorrow is another day and I will try to put the directions down on paper and post them.  Hope you like it.  Christmas Card

I haven't gotten much posted this week as I was getting ready for the Holiday Mini Catalog Class.  It was a success.  We had good company and lots of fun making our different Holiday projects.  And a SURPRISE project.  Loved it.  Thanks girls for all the fun and all the good company!

The other day I saw a  card like this-well I mean it was an aisle card.  But I have never made one....No directions I began this journey of the Easel card.  .Sooooo experiment  here I come.

So,  last year I used this stamp set alot.  It was one of my favorites - Come to Bethlehem (#118732-wood, #120591-clear).  But this year they came out with the new Champagne colored glimmer paper (#127885).  Well,  I got my stamp set out again and made this beautiful easel card.  The card itself is made from the Scallop Square Bigz Clear (115950).  You can't see by the way it is standing, but the glimmer paper is what is holding the card up.  It makes a little ledge for it to hook on and helps it stand.  The top about the glimmer paper has a Christmas saying, "Giving thanks for God's Gift of Love and the joy we share through Christ the Lord."  I paper punched the card all around in the scalloped edges using the Paper-piercing Pack-Festive #127857 and the new Paper piercing tool #126189 & mat #126199.   Doesn't the glimmer paper make it pop?  I love it.  I am calling it a night.  Thanks for looking.  Wonder what I'll will come up with tomorrow?

Getting in the Spirit of Christmas

Ok I know it's only August but I have been working on Christmas classes all week.  So,  when I saw MoJo Monday I decided to go Christmas.  This is my 1st MoJo Monday card I have ever entered.  But it looks like fun!   Let me know what you think.
 Things I used on this card are:
Whisper White cardstock  #100730  (cut 1 @ 4 3/4x4 3/4,  1 5x10)  You will also use about 1/2 sheet of this cardstock.
Cherry Cobbler cardstock  #119685  (cut 1 @ 4 x 2 1/2)
Gumball Green  #126840  (cut 3 @ 3 x 3)

2-way glue Pen  #100425
Tulle  (Lucky Limeade & Dazzling Diamonds spritzed on white tulle & sprinkled DD glitter while wet)  You must do this many times to get the color you want.
Use the embossing folder on the top half of the 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 white card stock.  Glue  SFD paper on bottom half of W white.  Emboss Cherry cobbler paper.  Attach with dimensionals.   Using the 3 Green circles place around the white circle and tape. Gather tulle in center and place on top of the Cherry Cobbler paper.  Tape down.   Then use dimensionals to attach the Green circle  to Cherry Cobbler paper.
Stamp tree in Gumball Green ink and using the framelit cut out.  Attach tree to white circle.  Color the dots with the cherry cobbler marker-let dry.  Then using the 2 way pen dab onto the dots and add dazzling diamonds glitter. 
Hope you enjoy this card it is perfect for Christmas (in August).  hehe
