I stamped the flamingo on a piece of scratch paper and cut it out. (do not use c/s for this-as it needs to be thin paper so your stamp will stamp right up to the stamp)  Set aside.  Hard  fold your Whisper White c/s in on your fold line.  Stamp you Flamingo leaving room for the water at the bottom of the paper.  Add repositional tape to the back of the flamingo you stamped on scratch paper and cover your flamingo.  (This will keep your flamingo from being stamped on and bringing it to the front when your done stamping).
Using your water stamp-(Memento ink) stamp on 3/4 of the bottom paper-leaving the outside edge for the palm branches.  Then stamp the reeds in your water (MI)
Start stamping the palm branches alternating the colors.  Stamp 3 extra branches on c/s and fussy cut them out- set aside.  You can stamp right on the flamingo if you wish bc the scratch paper flamingo will keep ink  off the flamingo & your flamingo will be on top when paper is  removed & give your card depth.
Remove the scratch paper to begin coloring you card.
Using the Flirty Flamingo ink- stamp the color onto your flamingo.
Tip:
Here is how I color the water, reeds & flamingo legs.
Slide your lid back (but do not open it) Press the ink lid into the ink to put a small amount of ink on the inside of the lid-open the ink & then use your aqua painter in your lid ink and color the water, reeds & flamingo legs.
Be creative and mix your colors to make whatever you want.
* Aqua painters are WONDERFUL to use...If new to Aqua Painters I  recommend using them before you start on your project just so you see how much color/water you need when using them.
If you make this card and would like to show it off send me a picture and I would love to post it on my blog.
Have a Wonderful week....and be sure to check back to see all the rest of the Flamingo cards I have made.
