The center heart was cut with the Heart Collection Framelits and this is what I used the markers on.  After it thoroughly dried I used the Dazzling Detail on the center to make it extra sparkly.  The heart flowers were made with the small heart punch and the small heart on the owl punch.  The leaves were made with the Blossom Petals punch and I ran it through a crimper for the vine like petals.  I used my MDS 2+ to make the "Happy Valentines Day" and then punched it out with the Full Heart punch.  I ran the background paper through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder to give it dimension  and the beauty it deserves to be a Special Valentines Card.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

It's hard for me to believe that another Christmas is gone and we are off to a New Year.  It's hard for me to take down my decorations because I really love this time of year.  Everything is bright with all the lights, the houses are all decorated up,  the weather is changing daily (we've already had snow-have you?)  and I just think everyone becomes a little more crafty-making homemade ornaments, cookies, candies--everyones homes has the Christmas smells---well I just LOVE IT!  So I had to make another Christmas card this morning but today I did it using my MDS 2+.  Do you have it?  I love it.  I like mixing and matching stamps with paper or embellishments with ribbon or sayings with other sayings.  With the MDS2Plus it is ALL there.   It is just a fun way to make cards, scrapbook pages-oh and did I say you can add your own pictures and make a scrapbook.  Yes you can.  And when your done you can save it and send it off to be printed.  Without leaving your own home.  It is wonderful.  Check it out herehttp://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=130646

Merry Christmas Friends

I just want to take the time tonight and wish you all a "Very Merry Christmas".  I hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow with all your family and friends.  I will not post tomorrow but I will be  praying for all you.  Enjoy your day!

Petal Cone Die Santa

This was really easy.  I needed something to put candy in for some cute kids in my neighborhood.  So I decided to make a Santa box to put some candy in.

Here is what I used:

Real Red C/S  #102482
Using the Real Red C/s cut 2  using the Petal Cone Bigz die #121810.  Cut the side piece off 1 end and connect them together with red sticky  tape to form a four sided pointed box.
1-WhisperWhite C/S # 100730 petal cone
WhisperWhite C/S  petal cone and then cut out 1 side to make the beard,  cut off the whisper white about 1/3 " from the point. 
Embossed this  with  an embossing folder to make it have some beard like hair.
I use Pink Pirouette C/S #111351 and the ex large oval punch #119859.
Pretty in Pink ink #126955 for the rosy cheek
Using the wing from the bird punch #117191 (cut 2 and emboss) is  his mustache
The circle punch in the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack #118309 are his eyes
The 3/4" circle punch is his nose in Real Red C/S
 The 2 3/8 Scallop Circle punch #118874 is the edging around the face of his hat.  I used Silver Glimmer paper #124005 and the Boho Blossoms punch #119858
On his nose and eyes I used the uni-ball Signo gel pen #105021

This will be a fun gift to give to the kids.  I can't wait to see them tomorrow. 

A Card for you! Merry Christmas!

Can you believe how fast Christmas has gotten here again.  It seem like when I was young it took forever to get here.  And now every year it comes much quicker.  Although I love this time of year my only wish is that it would be around longer.  I love all the decorations, the lights, all the festivities- everywhere!  The schools, the malls, cookie exchanges, secret santa gifts, family parties,  work parties, cheer parties, almost everyone likes something special at the holidays.  I think we have so much going on that what makes this season go by so fast. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year!  I can't wait to hear about all the special things that happen this time of year.  One of my special things is a friends husband had hip replacement about 10 days ago.  I have been praying that he has a speedy recovery.  Although, i don't know him I do know his wife and daughter and I just know what a blessing it is to see him feel better.  Well last night we were at our schools Basketball game and they came to the game.  He was on his crutches,  had to be very careful around all the people but he came.  He got to see his daughter cheer, his friends got to talk to him and they had a family outing.  I had been praying for him many times a day and after talking to his wife yesterday, I never expected for them to come.  It brought tears to my eyes when I saw them walk in.  And all the praise go to the Lord!  I felt very blessed that God answered my prayers.  Although, I know he has a long road to a full recovery - This was a Christmas Blessing in my life.  I hope you all will have Christmas Blessings in yours!  This is the Card I made for you if you are reading my post.  Merry Christmas Everyone!

Christmas Baskets

This basket was made for Alies Cheer Coach.   She loved it.  I used all my homemade goodies from the Holiday show and then added a few more from the parents.  The kids loved it and so did we.  Then I made one to give to  Craigs boss and this is what she wrote to me: 

 I tried calling you this am to thank you for the best gift basket I have ever received!

It is AWESOME!  I had a ton of fun opening it last night.  Please let Cheryl know how much I like it- she is so talented and does beautiful work.  It was too pretty to open- BUT, I did and enjoyed every bit- the Snowman Soup was a hit with Matthew as was the Snowman Tealight. 

Beautiful touches on every bit.  Thank you, again!  I will also enjoy my new Dawg Sportula.

Merry Christmas Mice

Merry Christmas from the Mice.  I found these round York peppermint candy at Walmart. When I got them home I couldn't decide what  I was going to do with them.  So I went to bed and the next morning I knew they would make great little mice.  But not just any mice--They were going to be Christmas mice.  So I made Santa hats.  Some of the hats stand up and others I made to flop down.  And honestly the are just adorable.  I took them to Mrs. Turners restaurant and she wants more already. Now I went back to get more and I found round (flat bottoms) chocolate covered cherries.  Another idea.   I am sure they are going to be adorable too.  Well,  maybe another post later.  I need to get going making more thing for the restaurant. 

Tree & Ornament Card

Well,  you know when your suppose to be doing something and you just can't get into it-well that is how I am feeling today.  But I am having no problem crafting.  HaHa  So I guess I will post my newest card.  I was going to wait til tomorrow but .....I got more.  This card is made with Gumball Green C/S  #126840 and Gumball Green ink for the trees  #126861 & refill #126855. This is one of the 2013-14 in colors.   I also used Pretty in Pink ink #126955 and Real Red ink #126949.  The card is on Whisper White C/S #100730.  I stamped and then punched out the trees and ornaments with the Merry Minis Punch Pack in the Holiday Mini catalog #126882  $16.95.  And yes you get 3 mini stamps and put it with the stamp set you get all kind of different trees and ornaments.  The punches are one of the things that are still available when the Holiday mini catalog ends.  On page 36 of the new Spring catalog there is a list of the carry over items.  If you need a new Spring Catalog email with your name & address, etc and I will send you out a new catalog that will start on January 3, 2014.  I will begin the new classes in January and I will be posting them soon.  Hope you enjoyed this card.  This was an easy card to make so if you havent gotten you Holiday cards started-maybe try this one.  Enjoy!

Hershey's Christmas Trees

I love Hershey's kisses.  And they are PERFECT in this little tree.  9 kisses fit perfectly.  The trunk is Hershey's nuggets.  Everything is tight fitting so no back was needed.  And on the front a couple of snowflakes, a bow, and Merry Christmas-well just perfect to put on your bosses desk or a friend, teacher or just about anyone you are thinking about this holiday season.  Let me know if you want the directions.  Quick and easy.  I did this at my daughters Christmas party last week.  The girls all loved making them and then they got to eat them.  Perfect!  Thanks for looking.

My Stampin' Up Gift Exchange

Remember the gift exchange I was going to.  This is my gift I received.  Isn't it just the cutest thing.  I love it.  The picture just doesn't do it justice.  But I wanted to show you anyways.  We had such a fun time today at our Stampin' Up Christmas party.  We got to do alot of talking-(which I'm sure you know that doesn't usually happen-hahahaha)  So much good food-a taco chili bake, salad, the best scones, a yummy egg thing, chicken,  and much more.  Oh, and a birthday cake for one of the ladies who is having her birthday today.  Chocolate cake -well what more could we ask for.  The gift exchange was so much fun.  Well, you saw my exchange. Remember the Santa plate-the one I posted a picture of and didn't think anyone would see it.  WELL,  I was wrong.  Luckily, she didn't make my plate. (Wouldn't that have been something if she would have made it) I will never do that again.  Next year I will wait til the party is over before I post it.  Anyways,  Thanks for the fun day Terry.  I had a great time!  And I hope you enjoy seeing this gift.

Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree......  you know this song.  I had this song stuck in my head today so I made it into a card.  Perfect to use the Scentsational Season Framelits Dies again.  (#127814 in the Holiday Mini- pg 16.    If you get the bundle you can stamp and cut without much work.  Wood Mount bundle  #129945  $36.95  or Clear mount # 129946  $32.95  pg 16 Holiday Mini.   I love this card and it is a very simple card to make if you are having to make alot.  Paper, ribbon and ink are all in Gumball Green #126840 & Whisper White #100730  with the  little star in Summer Starfruit #126839.   One of the new in-colors for 2012-13.  It is a great color for Christmas.   Remember, the new mini catalog will be coming out in January.  If there is something in the Holiday Mini you would like remember to get it before Jan 2. You're going to love the new mini catalog.

I LOVE my Big Shot

Hi,  For those of you who are not quite sure about the Big Shot and all it can do, I have added some info you might like to read.  I know because I was one of those people who didn't get the Big Shot for a long time because I really wasn't sure if I'd use it and then that meant I had to learn something new.  (and I was kinda afraid of buying something that would just sit there and I would never use it--I'm sure some of you know what I am talking about-hehe)  I finally did buy it and it is by far the best thing I have ever bought. It's Christmas

It's CHRISTMAS in the heart that puts Christmas in the air.

Well,  I can't believe Thanksgiving is over.  Now we start gearing up for my favorite holiday-CHRISTMAS!  I love all the decorations, Glitz and Glam, all the people out getting all the deals and that's how we felt last night when we went out shopping for Black Friday.  Everything all decorated up for Christmas and everyone wearing there Christmas clothes, hats, & scarfs.  It was fun.  But today I am paying for it.  I'm so  tired it' is hard for me to get motivated today.    So this that being said- here is an easier Christmas card that really didn't take alot of time to make.  So if your making alot or even a little you can get the job done in a Jiffy. (just don't stay out all night before hand) hehe

Run your Whisper White cardstock thru an embossing folder.  (Pg 189 in the big catalog has lots of embossing folders to choose from -Petals-a-Plenty makes a nice Christmas folder)  I stamped the Heart of Christmas stamp on Whisper white and then cut around it to the desired size I wanted.  Placed my saying on top of some Gumball green and cut that out.  Punched out a scalloped edge using the Cherry Cobbler c/s. Used dimensionals to adhere saying to card.   Using Gumball Green I cut out a piece of paper 4 1/4 x 2  measured in almost an inch from the edge of the paper and in the middle of the paper marked a dot.  Cut in from the edge to the dot on both sides of paper.  To make the top one I layed the Cherry Cobbler paper on top of the Gumball Green and marked a dot in the middle .  And cut it out the same as the top piece.

Stamped the snowflake stamp with Bashful Blue ink and used the 1 1/4 scalloped punch.  Stamped the Merry Christmas with Cherry Cobbler ink punched it out with the 3/4 " circle punch.  Used a dimensional to adhere to the top of the snowflake.

Hope you enjoyed this card.  Pretty and easy to make.

HO HO HO Merry Christmas

Isn't this a cute Santa card.  I was on the Internet and I saw something like this but when I went back to look at it again I couldn't find it.  So I made it my own way.  Just loved the way it turned out.  And
I think Santa would like it too :)
His suit is made in Real Red c/s #102482.  I used Basic Black c/s #121045  belt and buttons.  The buttons I used the Buttons # 5 Sizzlits #113440-$4.95 page 191 on the big catalog.  His mustache & beard is made with Whisper white c/s # 100730-$6.95 for 40 sheets.  I used the wing on the Bird Builder punch #117191-$16.95 for his mustache and the Apothecary Accent Framelits in the big catalog pg 191- #127003- $24.95 for his beard.  His nose is out of Real Red c/s and his mouth is Pretty in Pink c/s but you could use Whisper White and just color it with any pink you already have.  Both were cut with the 1/2"circle punch pg 184(big book) $5.95 #119869.  I also used the snowflake embossing folder for his suit and belt.  His belt buckle is Silver Glimmer Paper pg 160 (big catalog) $4.95-#124005.  The shape was made with the 1 1/4" square punch-pg 183(big catalog) $15.95-#119065 and the smaller square is 1' Square punch-pg 183 $15.95 #124094.  (punch the smaller square first and the larger on last.  That way you can see how much paper you have on all the sides).
Remember, to use the Framelits, dies or embossing folders you must have a die cutting machine like our Big shot.  You can emboss or cut with any dies you get.

Ornament Class

I will be having 2 more Holiday Ornament Classes.  I will post the dates tonite.  If your interested let me know.  The first two classes filled up quickly so don't be left out.  Only 4 people per class.  Check back tomorrow for the dates.  The class was fun!

Christmas Tree

This Christmas tree I made using the Simply Scored Tool  # 122334.  I was playing around last night  wanting to make some Christmas Decorations and this is what I came up with.  I will put the instructions on this tree later on today so you can make it for a gift or one of your decorations.  Let me know if I can be of any help to you with this.  It was not hard after I figured out the measurements.  Anyone interested in the instructions?  Let me know.   And I will post them.  Enjoy!

Scrunchy Flowers

Hi Everyone, 
I had alot of questions on how I made some of my flowers.  I am going to share how to do one of my favorites.  My scrunchy flower looks hard but the hardest thing about it is waiting for it to dry.  First,

punch or use your big shot and cut 6 of your favorite flowers.  I lay them out on top of a baby wipe.  Take your water bottle and spray them with water to break down the paper.  Then turn it over and do it to the back side.  When your done start scrunching up the flowers.  Be careful not to tear them.  After your done scrunching,  take each flower and put a small hole in the center so you can place a brad through it to hold it together.  The bigger the flower the bigger the brad.  While still wet place each flower on the brad and when you are done scrunch the flowers up again.  If you like the way it looks you can leave it or if you want to fluff it some do it now.  Spray it with Shimmer Paint now before it dries or you will have to wait again.  Let it sit and when it dries it will look exactly like it does now except dried and ready to use.  Hope you enjoyed these Scrunchy flowers.
